• April 6th - AOS Juniors Visit Wallops Island  Students and faculty will have a wet adventure at the Marine Science Consortium. Activities include water testing and specimen collection aboard a research vessel, fresh water habitat studies at Tom's Cove, and wading into a salt water marsh. Students return 7pm Tuesday.
  • April 17th- AOS 8th Grade  Welcome & Reception 7pm DHS The PTSO will assist the AOS in welcoming all the newly accepted 8th graders and their families. A fun evening of information, tours, and special cake.
  • April 24th - College Forum Night 6:45pm DHS Students and parents are invited to presentations by Admissions Directors from University of the Sciences inPhiladelphia, Christopher Newport University, and Illinois Institute of Technology. 

          * Brief monthly PTSO meeting will include nominations for officers
         and volunteers for committee chairs.

  • May 5th-9th Teacher Appreciation Week         Parents and students are planning a fun week to show teachers how much we appreciate the wonderful program at the Academy of Science. The activities committee would appreciate monetary donations towards gifts and events for that week. Send checks (made out to AOS-PTSO) or cash to AOS Office.
  • May 22nd - PTSO Meeting - Ashburn, LCPS Admin Building, 7pm Join us for the most important meeting of the year - election of 3rd. officers! We'll also have updates on the Wolfepack Science Symposium scheduled for June

  • June 3rd - Wolfepack Science Symposium and Field Day held at Dominion High School.  "B"day students will be bused in from their home high schools for this event.
